Q: What does Opensisma mean?
A: Opensisma is the abbreviation of the Hebrew version of "Open Sesame". Just like Alibaba can open the door of the cave with "Open Sesame", you can open the doors on the web with Opensisma.
Q: Is it secure to store my passwords in Opensisma?
A: First, you do not store passwords in Opensisma, you store your passwords encrypted on your harddisk. Opensisma just helps you with the encrypting and decrypting process. Opensisma employs 256-bit AES algorithm, which is the most secure encryption algorithm available and was adopted as a federal standard.
Q: Does Opensisma work with firefox?
A: The current version only works with IE6 and IE7. Firefox support will be added in the next release. Please stay tuned.
Q: Can Opensisma be made portable by storing my passwords on removable USB disk?
A: This feature is not completed yet in version 1.3. It will be made available in the next release.
Q: How to share Opensisma data among multiple computers?
A: If you have more than one computers and want to share the Opensisma data among them, Please follow these steps:

(1)Install Opensisma on any one of your computers. This computer will be referred as "Primary computer" from here on.
(2)On the "Primary Computer", right click the Opensisma tray icon and choose "Quick Start Guide". Click the "Secure your data in Opensisma" section, and note down the "Backup Key", which will be required for later use.
(3)In the "Quick Start Guide" window, find the location of your data folder in the "(2) Backup the "[your data location]" folder regularly..." line.
(4)On the next computer you want to use Opensisma (referred as "Additional Computer" from here on), Install Opensisma software, and identify the data folder location in the same way as you do on the Primary Computer in the step 3.
(5)Quit Opensisma on the Additional Computer.
(6)Copy all the content (files and subfolders) of the data folder from the Primary Computer to the Additional Computer.
(7)Start Opensisma on the Additional Computer, and you will be prompted to type the Backup Key you noted in the step 2 to prove your ownership to the new copy of the Opensisma data. After you supplied the correct Backup Key, the Additional Computer will be using the same data as the Primary Computer.
(8)After you did the above, any time you want to re-synchronize the data, a simple file copy will do the trick.
Q: When I upgrade to a new version of Opensisma, will my passwords be lost?
A: No. The User Data folder won't be removed or modified by upgrading Opensisma. In fact, your passwords are stored in the "opensisma" folder in "My Documents". Any changes of Opensisma's program files when you install, uninstall or upgrade Opensisma will not affect your personal data.
Q: What's the meaning of the Opensisma tray icons?
A: The Opensisma tray icons are designed to keep you informed about the password availability for the currently active browser window on your desktop. Depending on the content of the browser and the lock state, the tray icon may appear as one of the following:

* When the store is locked, you will be asked to confirm the subsequent access to the password store. If a PIN was set on the store, the PIN will be prompted.
Q: Opensisma's Tray icon is not visible in the Windows XP taskbar. What should I do?
A: For some reason Windows XP does not show all the Taskbar/SysTray icons. To make it show all icons, right-click the XP Taskbar, select Properties, uncheck "Hide Inactive Icons" and click OK. The Opensisma's Taskbar icon will appear.
